It can be devastating to find out that a loved one is addicted to a drug. It doesn’t matter what the drug is, either. It is just as shocking to learn that someone to whom you are close is addicted to crystal meth as it is to discover that they are abusing alcohol or heroin. A substance abuser is a substance abuser, after all.
